Job Responsibilities General Job Duties

- To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar.
- To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.
Job Duties
- Administer and maintain the Change X system at the plant level.
- Create, track, and update change requests (ECRs/ECNs).
- Administer, maintain, and communicate material break points to operations teams.
- Ensure all changes follow the defined approval workflow and governance process.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Monitor change status and drive timely completion of actions.
- Attend weekly program CFTs.
- Attend OEM engineering change meetings and communicate upcoming changes to Decostar organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to all changes.
- Ensure proper version control and document control alignment.
- Support audit readiness by ensuring traceability and compliance with IATF/customer requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to plant employees on Change X processes and tools.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain).
- Assist in preparing for customer reviews, audits, and gate approvals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure document control alignment.
- Provide updates on program status, risks, and timing concerns.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Experience in change management, document control, or quality systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 or ISO standards preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and change management systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Cross-functional collaboration.
- Process discipline and compliance.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Strong follow-up and accountability.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification from an accredited college or technical trade school required.
- This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking for up to eight (8) hours a day, the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours a day and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds on an infrequent basis. Good vision at a close distance is required. Must be capable of performing repetitive motion at, above and below shoulder height for up to six (6) hours a day.
Training Requirements
- You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
