GeneralSummary:
We are looking for a Shipping Manager for Pilgrim’s Shipping Department .
Pilgrim’s is seeking Shipping Manager to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll oversee critical operations during all three shifts in shipping . You’ll manage and coordinate activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, inventory control, loading/unloading trucks , forklift driving, and shuttle drivers . This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, animal welfare, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process coordination.

- Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines
- Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards
- Produce products that meet or exceed the customers’ (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service
- Provide positive people oriented work environment, designed to build morale
- Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control
- Physical demands if applicable
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends ; - Benefits :
