Welder​/Fabricator- Automotive Metal Repair

We are seeking an experienced
Welder/Fabricator with a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, laser cutting, machine shop operations, and mechanical repair. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with metal components, interpreting measurements and specifications, and repairing or modifying metal automotive parts.

This position requires someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with a variety of fabrication and metalworking equipment.

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or other welding processes as required.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair metal components according to specifications.
• Operate and assist with laser cutting equipment used to cut metal parts and components.
• Perform repairs and modifications to metal automotive parts and components
  .
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and various shop equipment.
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, bending, and finishing of metal parts.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and fabrication issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Apply strong machine shop and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment or part issues.
• Set up and operate fabrication and machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

• Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or similar manufacturing position
  .
• Hands‑on welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Experience with laser cutting of metal strongly preferred.
• Experience repairing or fabricating automotive metal parts preferred.
• Strong mechanical and machine shop knowledge.
• Ability to read measurements and use precision measuring tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and fabrication problems.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
