Thrift Store Manager

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia seeks a compassionate Thrift Store Manager to lead our Retail Operations team. This role oversees daily store functions, including staff and volunteer supervision, inventory, merchandising, and cash management, ensuring a welcoming environment that reflects our values of dignity and inclusion. The manager drives sales that fund vital programs such as food pantries and housing support, while engaging directly with customers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily thrift store operations to support SVd
• P Georgia's mission and programs.
• Supervise, train, and schedule employees and volunteers, fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and donation processing to maximize sales and impact.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, and basic financial reporting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store that reflects organizational values of dignity and compassion.
• Engage warmly with customers and clients, connecting them with available SVd
• P Georgia services.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to grow revenue and community reach.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations and other departments on campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
