Job Summary

Handles complex inside sales functions with limited supervision by applying specialized knowledge of electrical products, customer accounts, and internal systems. Supports both revenue generation and customer satisfaction through strategic account management and sales support activities. Identifies patterns and key issues from partial data, takes a broad perspective to problem‑solving, and frequently serves as an informal resource for less experienced team members.

Builds lasting customer relationships while contributing to sales process improvements. Champions digital adoption to streamline interactions, enhance responsiveness, and elevate the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates inside sales activities across high-value accounts, ensuring timely responses, accurate quoting, and alignment with sales strategies.
  • Communicates with customers, distributors, and field sales teams to answer inquiries, resolve product or delivery issues, and ensure account satisfaction.
  • Administers complex order entry, contract updates, and pricing requests while maintaining compliance with company policies and margin requirements.
  • Monitors sales performance metrics and customer activity to identify trends, flag potential issues, and support sales forecasting efforts.
  • Performs product research, cross-referencing, and availability checks to support solution recommendations and accurate proposal generation.
  • Interprets customer requirements and project specifications to influence pricing strategies and product configurations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Calls existing and prospective accounts to nurture relationships, confirm project timelines, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Keeps CRM systems and sales documentation updated to reflect accurate pipeline activity, customer interactions, and order status.
  • Coaches junior team members on internal tools, sales workflows, and customer service practices to ensure team consistency and knowledge sharing.
