The Roll Services Product Manager serves as Triosim's technical and commercial leader for roll services, connecting customers, field sales, engineering, and operations to drive profitable growth. Leveraging deep industry expertise, this individual works directly with customers to identify challenges, develop solutions, and improve roll performance, reliability, and asset life. Partnering closely with the sales team, the Product Manager helps create and advance opportunities, provides technical credibility throughout the sales process, and guides projects from initial discovery through execution and account growth.

The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to customers, a technical coach to the sales organization, and a champion for business growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as Triosim's recognized technical authority for roll services, maintaining deep expertise in roll design, repair, coverings, coatings, grinding, balancing, performance optimization, failure analysis, and industry best practices.
  • Partner with the sales team in the field to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities. Provide technical credibility during customer interactions and help position Triosim's solutions to address complex operational and reliability challenges.
  • Develop and deliver technical and commercial training programs that equip sales personnel to identify opportunities, diagnose customer challenges, communicate value, and effectively position Triosim's roll service capabilities.
  • Support the Site Leader with the development of quotations, proposals, and technical recommendations by providing application expertise, scope definition, technical specifications, and market awareness to ensure solutions are competitive, executable, and profitable.
  • Collaborate with the Site Leader on go-to-market strategy for the roll services product line: which customer segments to prioritize, which competitive accounts to pursue, how to position the product's value proposition, and what capabilities the shop needs to develop to win more work.
  • Develop customer-facing technical content including presentations, case studies, application guides, inspection reports, capability overviews, and solution recommendations that support both business development and customer retention efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects, serving as a trusted advisor for roll maintenance strategies, performance improvements, failure investigations, repair decisions, and long-term asset management planning.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, emerging technologies, and competitive developments affecting roll services, providing actionable market intelligence and strategic recommendations to Triosim leadership.
  • Support onboarding of new customers through technical presentations, site visits, inspections, capability demonstrations, and early project support that establish confidence in Triosim's expertise and service capabilities.
  • Identify service, technology, and capability gaps within the roll services business and work with operational leadership to develop plans that strengthen Triosim's technical capabilities and competitive position.
  • Leverage Triosim's network of facilities, technical resources, and manufacturing capabilities to deliver the best customer solution while maximizing opportunities across the organization.
  • Participate in industry associations, conferences, trade shows, and technical forums to strengthen Triosim's market presence and reputation as a trusted roll service and reliability partner.
  • Analyze competitive wins and losses to identify market trends, strengthen value propositions, improve sales effectiveness, and increase future opportunity conversion rates.
