The Graduate Assistant will actively contribute to the work of the School of Humanities by fulfilling the following responsibilities:

• 20% Coordination and scheduling of printers and institute equipment
• 25% Writing and revision of indoor and outdoor labels and signage
• 20% Acquisition and installation of exhibition cases and reader rails
• 25% Object, photograph, and material arrangement and installation
• 10% Environmental control installation and monitoring setup

• Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG (provisional admission is not eligible)
• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Master's degree in progress
• Be enrolled full‑time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework and remain in good academic standing
• Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States

• Ability to serve Fall, Spring, and summer for continuity (e.g., not graduating before summer 2027)
• Student must be interested in historic preservation and cultural resource management/Museum studies
• Ability to research and write constructively and manage time (History graduate student preferred)

• A monthly stipend of $1,000.00 per month
• A tuition waiver, reducing the semester rate to $25 plus mandatory fees while employed in the assistantship
