The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Technician collaborates with management and team members to deliver efficient service, leads and mentors less-experienced staff, and manages service calls using digital tools.

The Facility Services HVAC/Refrigeration team is dedicated to maintaining essential systems through collaboration and ongoing skill development. • Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels, ensuring compliance with building codes and operational standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues across commercial and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, walk-ins, and HVAC systems to maximize equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations, including refrigerant handling and documentation.
• Lead and mentor field teams, promoting safety practices and technical proficiency.
• Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Operate company vehicles safely to support service operations within assigned regions.

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols.
• Skilled in preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers and team members.
• Capability to lead and mentor technicians while adhering to safety and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
