Summary: The Inventory Clerk will ensure the accurate inventory quantities and locations in the dry and freezer warehouse.

Essential Functions:
  • Completes cycle counts and corrects inventory when needed
  • Create inventory labels for finished product as it is taken from the production floor to the Freezer Warehouse.
  • Communicates inventory errors to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Helps management team troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
  • Assists with periodic physical inventory audits
  • Operates forklifts when necessary
  • Help improve inventory management procedures
  • Cross trains and help in receiving as needed
  • Ensure the lines are clear of Hus to keep Inventory system (SAP) accurate.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety training.
  • All other duties as assigned
Preferred Education & Experiences:
  • 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • 3 years of experience as an Inventory Clerk.
  • 1 year of experience with SAP.
  • 1 year of experience operating a standup forklift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Basic Math skills
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and above head level
  • Basic knowledge of standard and metric weight systems
Work Ability Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds

frequently up to 25 pounds

occasionally up to 50 pounds.
