LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager on behalf of a confidential client for a high-impact leadership role within a growing, multi-location organization. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys partnering with the business, leading teams, and strengthening financial processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, a continuous‑improvement mindset, and the ability to support stakeholders across multiple operational locations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, including oversight of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related financial reporting
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Partner with operations and leadership by providing financial guidance in a multi‑location environment
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of documentation and responses
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Assist senior accounting leadership with special projects, research, and ad hoc analyses
  • Perform additional duties and projects as needed
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management or supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting multi‑location organizations preferred; large and/or public company experience strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and internal controls
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Workday GV or other large ERP systems preferred
