General Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk (AR/AP) – Carrollton, TX.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Clerk to join our team in Carrollton, TX. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with accounting tasks. We are a growing company that values accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

• Process invoices to customers and submit for payment
• Process A/R deposits from customers and reconcile as needed
• Reconcile and process payments of A/P invoices from vendors/subcontractors
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close
• Work with Branch/Area Managers on collection and reconciliation of customer accounts/past due invoices
• Maintain Open Order Reports to ensure timely processing
• Post General Ledger entries as needed
• Process credit applications for new customers and submit for approval
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments
• Assist in preparing financial statements
• Provide administrative support to the finance department in other projects as needed

• Basic knowledge of accounting operations
• Organized and attentive to details
• Accurate and efficient with processing of large amounts of data
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across various management levels (written and verbal)
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• High level of integrity and honesty for handling of sensitive data

• High School Diploma or higher
• 2+ years’ experience in an accounting role
