This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong inventory and cost accounting experience who enjoys working closely with operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manufacturing accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while also helping improve processes and operational visibility across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliations
• Support cost accounting processes including variance analysis and standard costing
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve financial visibility
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• Assist with audit support and financial documentation
• Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3–8+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or inventory-based environment
• Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting required
• Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliations
• ERP system experience required (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Net Suite, JDE, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Compensation:

• Base salary around $100K
• Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis

This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Carrollton, TX.
