  • Coordinate the meeting cadence that keeps the portfolio aligned: weekly project standups, monthly portfolio reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
  • Manage vendor and contractor communications related to project administration—quote routing, PO triggers, milestone confirmations.
  • Hold cross-functional partners (procurement, legal, finance, plant ops) accountable to commitments and deadlines that affect portfolio delivery.
Documentation & Audit Readiness
  • Own the capital project documentation system: scope documents, CARs, change orders, vendor records, and closeout packages.
  • Ensure the portfolio is audit-ready at all times—internal audit, external audit, or executive deep-dive.
  • Maintain the historical record of capital decisions for future portfolio planning and post-completion review.
What You'll Need

  • Working knowledge of capital project lifecycle: scope, AFE/CAR, approval, PO, execution, closeout.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability across functions without a direct reporting line.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—the role represents corporate engineering to plants, vendors, and leadership.
  • Bias for proactive follow-up—comfortable politely chasing people until commitments close.
