The Role

We are seeking a senior leader to further enhance our business relationships with key global customers. The individual must be capable of fostering business relationships internally and externally to drive business development for leading technologies. The role involves assisting Operations and Business Leads in expanding FFEM’s product portfolio for key customers. The primary objective is to increase both share and number of products sold, thereby driving sales growth and profitability for FEEM.

This role requires the ability to fully understand the voice of the customer and articulate that clearly to the FFEM organization, while managing the FFEM message back to the customer in a seamless manner. Ownership of managing the customer relationship with FFEM globally is essential.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Formulate and implement plans/strategies to strengthen and maintain strategic relationships with key global customers. Work with Global Business Directors and Global Managing Directors on critical issues to support business growth globally. Escalate and drive resolution of global issues if not receiving the support and response needed by global counterparts.
  • Define and achieve the key global sales budgets, coordinating with Local Account Managers (LAMs) to align the global sales budget.
  • Lead and support LAMs responsible for Customer R&D sites and ensure proper development and implementation of sales growth strategies for all relevant business areas in the short and long term.
  • Develop and maintain clear partnerships and communication between the Global Account Manager and LAMs.
  • Ensure LAMs fulfill their assigned tasks—entering SQNs, SCMs, audit support, budget planning, issue resolution—by monitoring performance against plan through weekly/monthly reporting and course correcting as needed.
  • Serve as the primary VOC (“voice of the customer”) to FFEM globally and drive the customer’s global issues throughout the FFEM organization via LAMs, GBDs, and GMDs as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Strategize plans to improve customer score cards. Prevent SQNs, resolve issues according to the customer’s timeline, comply with all QA items, develop and implement CIPs, fulfill all surveys, training, and ensure compliance per customer requirements.
  • Visit customer and FFEM sites with LAMs when appropriate.
  • Support all businesses and all FFEM One‑stop‑solution products on new and existing business opportunities.
  • Develop and support sales plans and product positioning in key accounts, oversee LAMs, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs, cultivating effective relationships at all levels.
  • Support supply chain and fulfillment, working with operations and business to address any quality or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with GBDs, GMDs, and LAMs globally to leverage knowledge and insight and develop successful account strategy.
  • Drive sales strategies and ensure accurate, timely, coordinated, and effective sales volume and revenue forecasting.
  • Serve as the primary interface with business, technology groups, application engineering, QA, and operations to manage internal projects aimed at strengthening and growing our global position, driving value add through global CIP coordination and new product development.
  • Determine clear and specific priorities for developing new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with internal functional groups.
