Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Administrative Management
LOCATION
NOTE:
This position requires in-person work at one of our campus locations.
Many schools isolate operations behind closed doors, scheduled meetings, and approval chains. Alpha takes a different approach. This role is front and center throughout the day: welcoming families, resolving device problems, ensuring smooth arrival and dismissal, reassuring concerned parents, managing vendor relationships, and creating a campus environment that feels secure, professional, and distinctly Alpha.
This position suits someone capable of being approachable without compromising standards, methodical without relying solely on procedures, and self-assured without distancing themselves from hands‑on work. You will manage nearly all non‑instructional operations: family communication, attendance processes, campus security, facility management, meal coordination, technology devices, event execution, and the minor issues that escape when left unaddressed.
You will not be surrounded by a large on‑site operations staff. You will have operational guides, remote assistance, and established protocols, but you must learn quickly, leverage available resources, and exercise sound judgment in real time. The payoff is becoming the reliable adult families remember, guides depend on, and students feel comfortable approaching when problems arise.
If you seek a high‑visibility school operations position where customer service, decision‑making, communication, and accountability are tested daily, submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing- Serve as the primary reliable contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors through clear, composed, and prompt communication.
- Oversee daily campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, meal logistics, campus presentation, event management, and facility maintenance follow‑through.
- Address campus safety and student welfare matters, including entry control, emergency drills, health‑related incidents, record‑keeping, and parent notifications.
- Administer student devices and essential campus technology, including initial setup, account assistance, issue diagnosis, data backups, repair coordination, and escalation to remote technical support teams.
- Establish trust with Guides, external vendors, and families by leading with helpfulness while upholding institutional standards.
- Remaining out of sight in an administrative office while others manage parent and student interactions.
- Delivering classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing academic curriculum.
- Deferring every problem to a supervisor before taking action.
- Routing operational decisions through multiple meetings when immediate campus needs require same‑day resolution.
- Considering facilities, devices, vendors, or meals to be outside your scope of responsibility.
