This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on jobsite safety while growing professionally within a respected construction organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations
- Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for field and office personnel
- Investigate incidents, near‑misses, and safety concerns, and develop corrective and preventive action plans
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote proactive safety planning
- Review job hazard analyses, safety plans, and project‑specific safety documentation
- Provide coaching and guidance to project teams to reinforce a strong safety culture
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Five or more years of experience in construction safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field
- OSHA 30‑Hour construction Safety certification required; OSHA 510 or similar training preferred
- Professional safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in active construction environments and travel between project sites as needed
