DFW - CMT Tech; Construction Material Testing Technician

Job Summary

As a construction material testing technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating different construction materials to ensure they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete as needed.
• Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work outdoors in different weather conditions. Lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Show responsibility, reliability, accuracy, dedication, and honesty.

• Ability to conduct field and laboratory testing on different construction materials.
• Ability to carry up to 60 pounds.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Possess time management and organizational skills.
• Clean MVR, background and drug screening.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.
• Construction experience (Preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
