Customer Service Rep, Bilingual, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
As a Front Desk Hospitality teammate, you will directly impact the experience of Club Members and Guests every day by providing energetic, fun, and welcoming service.
Front Desk Hospitality- Engage all Members and Guests with EPIC greetings and farewells.
- Check members into the gym using proper check‑in procedures.
- Register guests using proper registration procedures.
- Answer phones promptly using Fitness Connection verbiage.
- Route telephone inquiries to the appropriate Fitness Consultant.
- Ensure guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate Fitness Consultant in a prompt, professional manner.
- Serve as the initial point of contact and communication hub for members, guests and teammates.
- Promote and sell drinks, bars, supplements and merchandise.
- Meet or exceed daily and monthly Pro Shop goals.
- Stock and organize retail offerings as needed.
- Assist with any other operational duties requested by management.
- Learn about consumable and retail products sold in your location.
- Ensure the Pro Shop area is maintained and monitored throughout the shift.
- Accurately use POS and money‑handling procedures.
- Complete member and guest check‑ins and basic account inquiries.
- Monitor check‑ins to identify delinquent accounts, collect balances, and update member information.
- Notify club management of any required member assistance escalation.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized front desk and entryway.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
- Carry out regular club cleaning routines as needed.
- Report any incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive relationships with the entire club team.
- Support teammates in achieving their goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to interpret business communications including personal training contracts and pricing packages.
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Physical demands: bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, kicking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move freely in and around common gym obstacles and quickly transition between work areas.

Front Desk teammates will be enrolled in the EPIC Training Program and are expected to complete the coursework within the designated timeframe. Coursework requires basic math, reading, system technology, and communication skills, culminating in a thorough understanding of Fitness Connection’s membership system, supplement product knowledge, personal training benefits, and other club systems.
