Responsibilities- Attend client meetings and/or participate during in-house strategy sessions to qualify the design parameters
- Lead and support all phases of the design process from programming and space planning to installation
- Produce presentation materials, renderings, and client‑facing design packages
- Ensure all designs align with ADA requirements, building codes, and project goals
- Conduct field measurements, site verifications, and product inventories
- Prepare accurate and detailed construction documents and installation packages
- Apply company documentation standards and quality control processes while cultivating efficiencies
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and flexibility to prioritize workload, effectively address competing deadlines, and adapt to changing project demands
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure design accuracy, integrity and compliance
- Be an effective communicator, not afraid to ask questions to gather missing information
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer lines, products and industry trends in workplace design
- Attend vendor presentations and training to continuously expand product knowledge
- Previous contract furniture dealership experience beneficial but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
- Experience in commercial interior design or contract furniture preferred
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, industry standards, space planning and furniture systems knowledge
- Proficiency in design software, specifically CET Designer, AutoCAD, CAP/2020 (training available)
- Effective utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm | This is a fulltime, exempt, salaried position with generous benefits. | Hybrid work schedule available.
