PRIMARY PURPOSE

To provide professional supervision to the student services office, maintain the accuracy of student records, insure compliance with state regulations at the campus level, assist campus staff with SIS needs, and coordinate all state testing on the campus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

* A valid Texas teacher's certificate

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

* Experience with TEAMS student software

* Familiarity with SAAH and TWEDS information and knowledgeable of their impact on the school campus

* Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records

* Ability to use software to develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing

* Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills

* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience:

* At least three (3) years of high school teaching experience

* Leadership role on a major project

MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES

Student Information:

* Manage the tasks and staff of the campus Records Department

* Maintain accurate Academic Achievement Records for all students including but not limited to graduation requirement coding, credit entries, test results, GPA and ranking

* Evaluate student records of incoming students and prepare appropriate course placement based on that evaluation and input from the student/parent

* Assist campus administration and teachers with grading cycle tasks

* Design and coordinate all registration processes throughout year

* Collaborate with campus administration to create and maintain the master schedule and balancing teacher load

* Manage student schedule changes throughout the school year

* Serve as the first-line of support for TEAMS trouble-shooting and data requests at the campus level

PEIMS:

* Maintain accurate enrollment and transfer records for the campus

* Collect, organize, and submit student information relating to the SAAH

* Maintain accurate coding of students based on the TWEDS and TEA guidelines

* Stay knowledgeable about current TEA rules and guidance

Campus Testing Coordinator:

* Coordinate all state mandated testing at the campus level

* Develop materials for and provide training to campus staff for testing

* Track state testing results of all students

* Coordinate college entrance exams as given at the campus

Other Duties:

* Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the principal or designee

* Participate in professional development opportunities
