Job brief

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Guitar. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Carrollton, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. We seek instructors who share the philosophy:
Learn to Play From the Heart.

• Pay: $20 - $30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate.
• Job Categories: Recreational Arts Instructors (Education & Instruction)

• Curriculum/Delivery: Lessons can occur in the student s home, in the instructor s home or studio, or via webcam (webcam lessons are a smaller portion of the student base; in-person lessons are preferred).
• Note: Advertising, marketing, and billing are handled by Taylor Robinson Music to bring students in and lighten the load.

• Provide private music instruction (primarily guitar) to students in Carrollton, TX area or via the instructor s chosen venue.
• Set your own schedule and curriculum/lesson plans.
• Maintain timely communication with the office and students.
• Travel to students or host students in your own space as needed.

• Formal music training is not mandatory but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
