Facilitate the Multilingual Programs department Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) processes, procedures, and training across the district. Serve as a liaison between parents and the school district. Work collaboratively with campuses to support multilingual learners through language assessment, student monitoring, data management, and instructional support services that contribute to student achievement and language development.
Qualifications- Education/Certification:
High school diploma/GED or higher education from an accredited institution of higher education. - Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Proficient skills in keyboarding, word processing, and file maintenance; effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
Google proficient; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail; strong organization, communication and public relations, and interpersonal skills; ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases; ability to meet established deadlines; ability to follow written instructions. - Preferred Experience:
Three years of successful secretarial or clerical experience preferably in a related field; previous successful experience working with technology; previous successful experience working with children.
