We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head of Infant Classroom to lead our infant program with passion and expertise. This role involves overseeing daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, and supporting our team of caring teachers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, infant care, and classroom management to inspire both staff and children alike.
We are looking for a program
leader
with at least 2 years of infant care experience who wants to grow with a warm, supportive management team. (Primrose experience is a major plus!)
- Lead and supervise the infant classroom team, fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere focused on positive child development and safety.
- Implement our age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early learning milestones in areas such as social-emotional skills, motor development, and language acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and health regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and build trusting relationships that support each child's growth.
- Oversee daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and activity planning to ensure a nurturing, productive environment.
- Train and mentor teaching staff on best practices in infant care, behavior management, classroom management, and early childhood education.
- Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings with strong classroom management skills. We can only consider candidates with at least two years working in a licensed setting with infants as this is a lead role.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Ability to lead by example in implementing safety procedures and fostering a warm classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
