Reports to: Site Manager or Site Supervisor
SUMMARY:The Adjunct Lab Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality skills instruction and scenario facilitation during live sessions.
MAJORDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides live skills and scenario instruction during lab classes.
- Supports the mission vision and values of the school to outside agencies
- Works closely with the primary instructor and SOE leadership in enforcing student compliance with policies and procedures
- Attends occasional team meetings and annual training
- Grades students on psychomotor and affective abilities according to the syllabus
- Follows the scheduled lab plan
- Reports on student progress and participates in debriefs
- Conducts themselves appropriately, especially if travelling

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2 years in a prehospital system at the level instructing
The instructor must complete the School of EMS Instructor Orientation.
Part 1:
Completed prior to instructing students
Part 2:
Complete within 30 days of hire
Part 3:
Complete online module within 30 days of hire. Should complete the entire onboarding process including card course instructor within 6 months of employment.

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:State paramedic or EMT license in good standing, depending on the level instructing
