As a Sales Application Engineer, you’ll be the technical partner for the Sales team, guiding projects from concept to production while ensuring customer success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to provide technical support, feasibility analysis, and pricing for projects.
- Consult with customers, distributors, and internal teams to address application concerns and optimize solutions.
- Guide prototype manufacturing and product/system development, ensuring designs meet performance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation using CAD and other engineering tools.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress, changes, and outcomes from start to finish.
- Conduct limited field visits to support implementation, training, and customer troubleshooting.
- 3–5 years of experience in product/application engineering or sales support, preferably in a manufacturing environment with electromechanical products.
- Hands-on problem solver with mechanical/electrical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems; comfortable learning new tools.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate with customers, peers, and leadership.
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Willingness to travel 10–20% within the continental U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
