Cloud Test Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Test Architect to develop test environments using C/C++ across cloud servers and embedded environments. You will work on client-server architectures, IoT systems, and ensure seamless communication between devices and servers. Your expertise will help refine and correct test processes, contributing to a robust and efficient cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and implement test environments using C/C++ across various platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to set up and develop environments.
• Analyze and correct test processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with client-server and IoT architectures to ensure seamless communication.
• Develop frameworks to load/stress test cloud infrastructure with realistic simulation of transactional data.
• Provide direction to the team on specific tests based on thorough analysis.

• Proficiency in C/C++ in a multi-threaded environment.
• Experience in cloud-based implementations.
• Ability to analyze and resolve architectural issues, including deadlocks and data reduction at transactional and protocol levels.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud and infrastructural know-how.
• Proficient in using tools like memory profilers.

• Experience with MQTT, Azure Cloud, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of IoT Architecture and OpenDDS.
• Ability to work at the stack level, not just framework.

This position requires onsite work five days a week. The work location will be in Richardson starting Q4 2026.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

• The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
