Job Title:
Cloud Test Architect
We are seeking a Cloud Test Architect to develop test environments using C/C++ across cloud servers and embedded environments. You will work on client-server architectures, IoT systems, and ensure seamless communication between devices and servers. Your expertise will help refine and correct test processes, contributing to a robust and efficient cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test environments using C/C++ across various platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to set up and develop environments.
- Analyze and correct test processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with client-server and IoT architectures to ensure seamless communication.
- Develop frameworks to load/stress test cloud infrastructure with realistic simulation of transactional data.
- Provide direction to the team on specific tests based on thorough analysis.
- Proficiency in C/C++ in a multi-threaded environment.
- Experience in cloud-based implementations.
- Ability to analyze and resolve architectural issues, including deadlocks and data reduction at transactional and protocol levels.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and infrastructural know-how.
- Proficient in using tools like memory profilers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with MQTT, Azure Cloud, and Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of IoT Architecture and OpenDDS.
- Ability to work at the stack level, not just framework.
This position requires onsite work five days a week. The work location will be in Richardson starting Q4 2026.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.
Pay And Benefits- The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
