Mechanical Engineer
This Mechanical Engineer designs, fabricates, modifies, and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems, and systems.
Duties- Write test procedures, compile, and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.
- Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
- Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.
- Coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as needed.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Requires at least 2 years related experience.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Experience with analytical and CAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems is a plus.
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $90,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for the Broad Base Incentive (BBI) program with a target payout of 2%. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
Locationand Schedule
This position is located in Carrollton, TX and will be in the office Monday through Friday.
