This position will report to our Ener Sys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Ener Sys is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician III to join our growing Energy Systems team! In this role, you will be a technical expert, providing advanced on‑site support to our valued customers. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex equipment and systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

As a technical expert and team leader, you will provide comprehensive on‑site support for Ener Sys Battery and Systems products and services. You will champion health and safety, quality, and standards while mentoring team members. Your leadership will be essential in achieving revenue and margin targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Advanced Field Service Expertise- Provide expert‑level technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues, utilizing your in‑depth knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid costly downtime.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing timely, efficient, and professional service.
- Effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and recommendations on best practices for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO
9000 standards. - Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate safe work procedures when using hand and power tools.
- Complete all required safety and compliance training.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, contributing to the overall success of the team.
