Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas domain to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Solidworks and its application within the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to engineering projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engineering solutions using Solidworks tailored for the Oil & Gas sector.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and aligned with business goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Prepare and present engineering reports and documentation to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices related to Oil & Gas.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas business, with a strong understanding of industry specific challenges and requirements.
• Expertise in Solidworks, including advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative engineering solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other engineering software tools relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops for engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of relevant experience in engineering roles within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Professional certifications in project management or engineering are a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices specific to the Oil & Gas sector.
