Job Summary

The Senior Cloud/Dev Ops Engineer is a key technical contributor responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade cloud and network infrastructure. This role requires deep experience with large‑scale networking, cloud transformation, and automation. You will help drive the evolution of our cloud capabilities, eliminate manual processes through automation, and ensure our hybrid, multi‑cloud environment is secure, scalable, and highly available.

You will partner closely with Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and IT Security to deploy and support servers, networks, and business‑critical systems. This includes responsibilities across Windows Server administration, Active Directory, backup and recovery, endpoint virtualization, business applications, and end‑user cloud technologies. The Senior Cloud/Dev Ops Engineer also contributes to architectural direction for enterprise solutions requiring redundancy, failover, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, monitor, and maintain hybrid network infrastructure spanning on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments.
  • Define and implement cloud and network best practices, standards, and guardrails.
  • Develop infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) solutions for cloud‑native services, with emphasis on cloud networking.
  • Perform capacity planning to support current and future network and system demands.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture designs that are optimized for performance, operational efficiency, and cost.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud‑native networking technologies, patterns, and emerging trends.
  • Partner with IT Security to ensure cloud environments meet regulatory and industry security standards.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud development or Dev Ops engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience administering end‑user cloud technologies (Azure, Teams, Office 365).
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands‑on engineering experience with Microsoft Azure, with strong focus on enterprise cloud networking and security.
  • Proven experience hardening and securing cloud environments in regulated industries.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise network design, capacity planning, cost optimization, monitoring, and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across cloud and legacy network environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM templates.
  • Experience collaborating across cross‑functional teams in hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
