Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an Enterprise Engineer to join their Infrastructure and Digital Operations team. This is a highly visible role focused on modernizing enterprise infrastructure through automation, cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering best practices. This position offers the opportunity to work with a broad technology stack spanning Azure, Kubernetes, VMware, Windows and Linux administration, automation frameworks, and enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building repeatable, automated solutions that improve operational efficiency and security.
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Git-based workflows.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Administer and automate Azure resources, hybrid identity solutions, and access management controls.
- Support Kubernetes environments, containerized applications, and Git Ops deployment strategies.
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and system hardening.
- Administer VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms and support capacity planning, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
- Develop automation solutions using Power Shell, Ansible, and other scripting tools.
- Support monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, and incident response initiatives.
- Contribute to enterprise security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Dev Ops.
- Experience with Azure administration and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong automation experience using Ansible, Power Shell, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Azure, VMware, or related infrastructure certifications.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, endpoint management, backup, and disaster recovery platforms.
- Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
- Exposure to Git Ops practices and large-scale infrastructure automation.
