Overview
Lennox, a global HVAC and refrigeration leader, seeks a CAD Designer to create and produce manufacturable HVAC assemblies that meet Lennox factory standards.
Responsibilities- Create 3‑D HVAC designs involving sheet metal, tubing, and plastic components.
- Prepare detailed drawings and assembly drawings following Lennox standards.
- Model and draft according to Lennox procedures.
- Produce non‑complex detailing, redrawing, lettering, and tracing for components, assemblies, and engineering change orders.
- Ensure drawings incorporate all design features and maintain product style.
- Suggest design modifications to improve product quality and function.
- Work experience with Windchill and Creo is preferred.
- Associate's degree in mechanical design and drafting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with 3‑D modeling and layout of electromechanical systems and components.
- Applied experience in creating engineering drawings and layouts per ASME 14.1 and applying dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.
- Proficiency using Product Lifecycle Management tools such as Windchill.
- Strong communication skills.
- Certified HVAC designer under ISO 17024.
- Experience with Creo Parametric Design Essential 7.0 or later.
- Experience using SAP Production System (P00).
- Experience creating and documenting Engineering Change Requests and Notices in Windchill.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5M.
This salaried non‑exempt role offers an annual salary range of $67,000 – $88,200, with eligibility for the Broad Base Incentive (BBI) program and a target payout of 2%.
Location & ScheduleCarrollton, TX; in‑office Monday through Friday.
