Director of Strategy & National Accounts

Responsibilities

• Pursue national account opportunities on a full-time basis
• Build and manage a National Accounts portfolio of up to $50M Group Sales ($10M-20
  
  Mmanaged directly)
• Seek, initiate, and drive new business opportunities, including market segments and service offerings
• Hire and manage support staff, as needed
• Lead Capture Team Process for high opportunity accounts, engaging resources across ECS
• Mentor NAM’s and NPL’s as Corporate Sponsor and/oras assigned
• Work with Director to build a consistent national sales process and consistency among offices
• Provide strategic leadership and information on market trends and long-term growth opportunities
• Assist with other duties as assigned

• 15 years of direct National Account Management experience within ECS's areas of expertise and broad knowledge and understanding of our primary service lines (geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and facilities consulting
• BS/BA degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related discipline
  • MS/MBA preferred
• Significant National Account Management (NAM) experience and a targeted business development mindset
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with negotiating contractual terms and management of the corresponding risk, working with corporate counsel for per policies
• Demonstrated experience with building business plans for new client and service line pursuits
• Strong presentation skills, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication, client service, and relationship building skills
• Entrepreneurial drive for results
• Proven ability to attain goals
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and successfully meet deadlines
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
