Product Testing & Validation
- Assist in developing and setting up tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of new HVAC components, including motors, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
- Support product qualification and validation activities through hands-on testing and data collection.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings to support engineering decisions.
- Help identify opportunities to improve product performance and reliability.
- Analyze engineering test data to identify trends, performance issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop Python-based tools and scripts to automate data analysis and reporting.
- Create visualizations and summaries that help engineers make data-driven decisions.
- Support modeling and analysis activities related to product performance.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating cost reduction opportunities for products and components.
- Support engineering studies focused on improving product quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and sustaining projects.
- Assist with research, testing, and technical investigations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
- Take on special projects that provide exposure to multiple areas of engineering.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles
- Experience with Python programming and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience analyzing large datasets and developing engineering tools
