About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Engineering student for a hands-on Engineering internship based in our Carrollton, TX manufacturing plant. This internship provides an opportunity to be part of an engineering team to provide manufacturing technical support and/or execution of capital projects. The intern will be expected to develop options and recommendations for manufacturing process systems, collaborate with other engineers, provide assistance on defined problems, and communicate progress or results.
This individual will acquire working knowledge of processing principles, operating systems, and project management.
- Support key strategies / programs across the enterprise
- Leverage subject matter expertise in assigned areas to drive continuous improvement and technology.
- Provides technical and economic support to other groups within THS that are focused on improvements to the current state that deliver competitive advantages.
- Keeps current with and champions implementation of the latest technology and commercial applications, Plant/TMOS/Reliability teams, Vendors- equipment & material.
- 2 - 3 years of progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem solving skills, are required.
- Works with teams to drive improved performance.
The anticipated compensation for this position is $$22-$24 per hour. This is the salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.
