As a Hardware Engineering Co-Op, you will work closely with experienced hardware engineers on real-world engineering projects that contribute to the design and performance of innovative HVAC technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development, testing, and problem-solving while building technical and professional skills in a collaborative engineering environment.

• Assist with electrical design activities for residential HVAC control products.
• Support circuit evaluation, component selection, and design verification efforts.

• Assist with prototype assembly, validation, and laboratory testing activities.
• Support engineers in conducting electrical and functional testing of hardware systems.

• Assist with maintaining product documentation, test records, and technical reports.
• Support engineering teams with technical investigations and project-related documentation.
• Help track project progress and communicate findings to team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates as needed.

• Collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams on engineering initiatives.
• Support assigned project work throughout the internship, including planning, testing, and reporting activities.
• Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and project discussions.
• Present project findings and accomplishments to Lennox leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

• Support the design, development, and testing of residential HVAC control systems.
• Assist with prototype evaluation, product verification, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Contribute to engineering activities that improve product performance and reliability.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Completion of electrical design coursework.
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and circuit analysis.
• Familiarity with electrical laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
