The AI Server Marketing Engineer will be at the crossroads of advanced technology and industry momentum. This position is Ideal for someone who is very interested in exploring technology, market activity, and sharing internally to investigate how opportunities can be leveraged in favor or existing technology and product assets of the company.

Hybrid from Dallas, TX or San Jose, CA.

Market and Technology Intelligence

• Analyze AI data center server and network architectures.
• Track developments in various interconnect technologies such as Ethernet, Infini Band, PCIe, CXL, Ser Des, retimers, cables, connectors, and optical engines - including Plug gables, CPO, NPO etc.
• Evaluate key challenges including signal integrity, optical loss, bandwidth density, energy efficiency, EMI, thermal performance, and reliability.
• Track relevant industry standards, ecosystem activities, and competitive developments.

Market Opportunity and Product Strategy

• Identify opportunities for Murata technologies in Server packages, boards and intra and inter rack interconnects.
• Translate customer and market trends into product requirements and development priorities.
• Develop technical value propositions, competitive analysis, market sizing, and business recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support product marketing as as well as further product roadmaps.

Customer and Technical Marketing

• Conduct technical discussions with hyperscalers, semiconductor companies, server and network equipment manufacturers, and optical ecosystem partners.
• Understand customer roadmaps, design challenges, qualification requirements, and development schedules.
• Present technology trends, customer requirements, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Develop technical presentations, market reports, customer proposals, and sales-enablement materials.
• Influence internal team and customers through customer workshops, conferences and other possible venues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Photonics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+years of experience in technology development, technical marketing, systems engineering, application engineering, or business development.

• Experience in data center networking, optical communications, high-speed interconnects, network semiconductors, servers, or AI infrastructure.
• Experience working with customers, engineering teams, and product organizations.
• Master’s or PhD in an engineering related field.

• Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

California Salary depending on location.

Minimum Salary: $81,578

Maximum Salary: $135,215
