This position is intentionally scoped for an early‑to‑mid‑career FP&A professional (2–4 years of experience) who has a strong accounting foundation and is ready to expand beyond execution into increased ownership, exposure, and business partnership within a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow performance with a strong understanding of underlying accounting drivers
  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and periodic reforecasts
  • Perform monthly variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identifying key performance drivers and business risks
  • Develop and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Prepare executive‑ready financial materials and analyses for senior management, contributing to monthly business reviews and leadership presentations
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Accounting, Operations, Sales, Manufacturing, and other teams to ensure financial alignment, transparency, and informed decision‑making
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives, including scenario modeling and business cases, with exposure to transaction or integration‑related work as the company scales
  • Help scale and improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting as the business grows
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA track strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, formulas, and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take ownership of deliverables, and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain financial results to non‑finance partners, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights

Preferred Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Public accounting (Big Four or mid‑sized firm)
    • Corporate FP&A or financial analysis role
    • Investment banking, transaction advisory, or similar analytical role
  • Hands‑on experience supporting:
    • Budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Variance analysis and performance tracking
    • Management reporting and dashboard development
  • Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams and presenting insights to finance or business leaders
  • Exposure to a high‑growth, operational, or technology‑driven company environment

At Liquid Stack, how we work is just as important as what we deliver. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate our core behaviors:

  • Flexible – Adjust your approach to meet evolving business needs and unique financial challenges
  • Collaborative – Work across teams and disciplines to drive alignment and better outcomes
  • Driven – Pursue excellence with urgency, accountability, and purpose
  • Agile – Move quickly, adapt to change, and embrace continuous improvement
  • Customer‑Centric – Keep internal and external customer needs at the center of financial decision‑making

Attentive – Listen carefully to understand business context, not just the numbers
