Mortgage Loan Processor

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. This role focuses on handling urgent loan files that require quick turnaround—often within 24 hours. You will manage a high‑volume queue, make critical corrections, and ensure compliance with investor guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac standards and experience working with a variety of loan products.

• Process urgent loan files and ensure closings within tight deadlines.
• Manage a queue of 40–50 loans and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Make adjustments to cash‑to‑close amounts, debt‑to‑income (DTI) ratios, and seller credits.
• Restructure loans as needed during closing.
• Review borrower documentation, including credit reports and bank statements.
• Apply investor guidelines and add conditions to loans.
• Collaborate with branch operations teams to resolve issues and finalize loans.

• 3–5 years of loan processing experience.
• Strong understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.
• Experience with conventional loans, FHA, and VA loans.
• Knowledge of VA funding fees and COE requirements.
• Ability to identify and verify documentation, including large deposits.
• Experience with purchase transactions (not just refinances).
• Encompass experience preferred.

Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

Pay range: $25.00 – $25.00 per hour.
