Position Overview:

A Compliance and Operations Testing Analyst is a professional who performs and communicates compliance and operational related testing to determine adherence with state and federal consumer protection rules and laws as well as business requirements. This role requires researching regulatory requirements for auto-finance or consumer lending industry and standard operating procedures and testing to ensure compliance as well as data analysis, communicating results, and determining root cause of findings.

A Compliance and Operations Testing Analyst works closely with the Operations team and other management to identify and resolve any issues that arise during testing. This role also includes validating that compliance and operational issues have been resolved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent educational and/or professional work experience considered.
  • Three or more years of experience in the auto-finance or consumer lending industry required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or compliance testing required.
  • Experience with state and federal consumer protection rules and laws (such as but not limited to FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UDAAP, SCRA, MVRISA, etc.) compliance preferred.
  • Knowledge of auto finance indirect lending policies and procedures, federal and state laws, and quality standards related to call center operations.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and understanding of servicing and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication, with the ability to present findings clearly to management and department leaders.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and Power BI.
