Responsibilities- Update and maintain initial filings for Medicare and Medicaid payors.
- Interpret applications, compile supporting documents, analyze requests, and submit applications.
- Support the Managed Care Department with ownership and disciplinary action review for a variety of payers.
- Maintain pharmacy profiles on NCPDP and NPI websites.
- Conduct research on application processes for each entity and state and keep the research up to date.
- Develop and maintain annual timelines and work plans using contracting software.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental updates with Licensing, Managed Care and Reimbursement teams.
- Develop and distribute internal communications regarding changes in Medicare and Medicaid.
- Review and renew surety bonds and coordinate issuance of certificates of insurance.
- Research special license projects and report on requirements, forms, fees, and timelines.
- Prepare and submit revalidations and changes to Medicare and Medicaid (e.g., address change, PIC change, officer change).
- Complete and file Medicare 855S DMEPOS and 885B HIT applications.
- Troubleshoot specific Medicaid issues.
- Oversee enrollment processes for Government Health Plans.
- Set up user accounts with Government, Commercial Health Plans and Medical Group payer portals.
- Assist Licensing team with permits for pharmacies and home health agencies at all levels.
- Update new licenses/permits and submit ownership and disciplinary action disclosures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of business compliance regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of federal, state, county and city rules and regulations for home infusion pharmacies and home health agencies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong judgment and professionalism.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and deadline‑management skills.
- Continuous monitoring of changes that may affect licenses.
- Proficient with Windows, Excel and Word.
- High School Diploma required.
- At least 2 years of State Board licensing experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of regulatory compliance and/or credentialing experience preferred.
