POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a high-performing Regional Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic relationships, and unlock new markets in the data center industry. This is a critical, hunter-focused role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex environments, understands the value of collaboration, and has a passion for breaking new ground. Responsibilities- New Business Development: Identify and secure new commercial opportunities with enterprise customers, hyperscale’s, semiconductor manufacturers, chip makers, and server OEMs. Leverage your hunter mentality and high-closing track record to break into untapped markets and accounts.
- Evangelize Liquid Cooling Technology: Utilize a deep understanding of liquid cooling in Datacom environments to position our technology as a next-generation solution. Socialize and evangelize our capabilities with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Identify new strategic opportunities—directly or via partners—and work cross-functionally to define value-based solutions supported by detailed business cases.
- Business Planning & Market Analysis: Develop comprehensive regional business plans, outlining key initiatives, revenue opportunities, risks, limitations, and timelines for both strategic clients and broader market segments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Inside Sales, Product Management, Sales Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver cohesive customer experiences and expand your book of business.
- CRM & Sales Metrics: Utilize the CRM system to enter, track, and analyze key business metrics. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility in alignment with business goals.
- Account Prioritization & Goal Setting: Prioritize accounts based on potential growth and strategic relevance. Set and achieve ambitious sales and revenue targets that align with broader company objectives.
- Reporting & Intelligence: Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports. Stay informed on competitive dynamics, industry trends, and market developments to inform strategic direction.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements. Develop brand visibility and uncover partnership opportunities through in-person networking.
- Experience: 5+ years of success in technical B2B sales, ideally within data centers, high-tech manufacturing, thermal management, semiconductors, or IT infrastructure.
- Sales Drive: Proven hunter and closer, with a passion for building new relationships and exceeding quota. Experience with complex sales cycles and technical solution selling.
- Industry Knowledge: Background or strong working knowledge of data centers, servers, chips, or liquid cooling is a major plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Skilled at developing business cases and market entry strategies. Understands how to evaluate risk, map stakeholders, and define revenue paths.
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; comfortable working across functions and geographies. Able to communicate technical value in a clear, compelling way.
- Tech Savvy & Organized: Strong command of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics, and reporting. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally (30–50%) to engage customers, attend events, and support key opportunities.
