Role: QA Automation Lead

Duration: 6 months

Descriptions:

"" Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
" Implement and maintain BDD frameworks (Cucumber or similar).
" Lead automation strategy for web applications across different browsers and environments.
" Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
" Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
" Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
" Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers (up to 10 members).
" Analyse test results, identify defects, and ensure proper defect tracking.
Preferred Skills
"

Experience with AI-powered tools such as:
" Cursor AI
" Kane AI (or similar AI-assisted testing tools)
" Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions).
" API testing experience .

Leadership & Soft Skills
" Proven experience leading a team of ~10 QA engineers.
" Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
" Ability to drive automation initiatives and improve QA processes.
" Strong ownership and accountability mindset."

"" Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using Type Script or JavaScript.
"

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow, or similar).
" Solid understanding of automation framework design and best practices.
"

Experience with cloud testing platforms:
" Lambda Test
" Browser Stack
" Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
" Experience working in Agile methodologies.
" Strong debugging and problem-solving skills."
