Field Foreman

Supervise and direct associates involved in inspection, maintenance and operation of equipment on customer job site or other remote locations.

• Supervises and directs field crew to include administering paperwork, transferring materials, machinery and associates to jobsite.
• Prepares estimates of time and materials needed for jobs using work plans, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• ages relations with contractors.
• Delegates job duties to field crews.
• Leads daily safety meetings; responsible for 24 hour emergency call out.
• Communicates with customers.

• Experience provides solutions.
• Ensures that work is performed consistently with Core & Main's policies and procedures.
• Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.

• Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes, or odors.
• Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
• Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5+ years' experience in a related field.
• May require certification.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
