HVAC Lab Technician

As an HVAC Lab Technician, you will assist mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

• Test prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify, and plan fabrication requirements, as well as assembly and testing requirements.
• Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist in establishing work load completion dates.

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two‑year degree or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

This is a salaried non‑exempt role. The starting salary range is $60,800 – $79,800 annually. Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the company’s applicable plan.
