Duties and Responsibilities

Labels and stores all materials in correct storage areas
Coordinates activities of transferring materials
Must be able to lift 25-50lbs, regularly
Understands inventory control principals
Has knowledge of warehouse functions (inventory, receiving, staging, and prepping)
Understands and implements lean practices and demand flow strategies
Has strong math skills
Demonstrates a willingness to learn new tasks
Removes trash from production area and places in dumpster
Locates items strategically to reduce wasted motion and maximize space utilization

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES:

Forklift Certification preferred (ability to re-certify with employer)
Valid driver's license preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
