Forklift Operator - 2nd shift
The Forklift Operator role at the Carrollton location will be responsible for accurately handling all inbound raw materials, inbound finished and outbound finished goods.
- Inspect, date, record, and mark all inbound receipts
- Stock inbound receipts in designated storage areas
- Rotate raw materials and packaging supplies (FIFO)
- Conduct inventory counts on packaging and raw materials
- Pick, count and ship finished goods accurately on assigned shifts
- Accurately unload, separate, count and stock incoming finished goods
- Assist with inventory control of finished products
- Monitor quality control of products and do not ship damaged goods
- Change forklift batteries to ensure proper charging
- Employees must adhere to all company policies, plant rules and safety regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook and comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies
Full‑time permanent role on 2nd shift, operating from 1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Shift differential included.
About You- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Ability to operate a stand‑up reach forklift
- Must have the ability to read and understand production schedules and procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders
