Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager/Team Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This in-field role is performed in a fast‑paced, highly team‑oriented environment under general supervision.
- 5-7 years of project management or team lead experience specific to the low‑voltage industry
- Cable or systems experience with Wireless Access Control, LAN, WAN, VoIP, Video, Security
- Connectivity experience with switches/routers/servers
- Proven experience with cable design (Visio and AutoCAD a plus)
- Ability to work with online workflow management systems such as Remedy
- Experience managing vendors and a team of workers to complete projects
- Familiarity with large enterprise environments
- Basic understanding of BICSI standards and all applicable low‑voltage cabling codes and requirements
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Capability to work independently
- Troubleshoot with field staff and manage multiple projects across multiple locations simultaneously
- Design, implement, and communicate detailed project plans with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely completion
- Create vertical and horizontal pull and patch schedules and detailed distribution, routing, and riser diagrams
- Perform ongoing analysis of existing infrastructure, cabling bids, and specifications
- Build and maintain customer and vendor relationships
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with sales teams
- Contract management experience is a plus
- PMP, RCDD, BICSI certifications are not required but preferred
- Product certifications a plus:
Panduit, Comm Scope, Berk‑Tek, Ortronics - Intimate knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word is required
