Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21–$22/hr

Shift: 2nd shift 2:00pm – 11:00pm or when job is done (mandatory overtime daily)

What's a typical day as Side Loader Forklift Operator? You'll be:

• Safely operating a side loader forklift, sit-down forklift, and overhead crane to move heavy metal stock.
• Picking, staging, and packaging feedstock for customer orders, including breaking down bulk bundles as needed.
• Completing shipping and receiving paperwork, and performing work order confirmations with computer systems such as SAP.
• Loading and unloading trucks while consistently meeting daily productivity and safety goals.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 1 year of metals warehouse or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Possess prior experience operating a side-loader forklift, sit-down forklift, and overhead crane.
• Can pass a skills-based test covering basic math, reading, measurements, and attention to detail.
• Are comfortable using standard measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and pneumatic hand tools.
• Are able to work the 2nd shift and commit to mandatory daily overtime.
