Job Description /Responsibilities

As a Processing Technician, you'll play a key role in producing the high-quality products that power some of the industry's most recognized brands. You'll blend and batch ingredients, perform quality testing, operate processing equipment, and help ensure every product is manufactured safely and according to specification. Pay

The hourly rate for this role is$23.18 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour shift differential available for eligible night shift positions.

Shifts Available

Shift A works Sunday
- Tuesday (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wednesdays (6AM – 12PM).

Shift B works Sunday night
- Tuesday night (6:00PM – 6:00AM), and Wed (6PM – 12AM Thur).

Shift C works Thursday
- Saturday, (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wed (12:00PM – 6:00PM).

Shift D works Thursday
- Saturday nights, (6:00PM – 6:00AM), and Thur (12:00AM – 6:00AM).

What You'll Do

  • Prepare, blend, batch, filter, and transfer products using approved formulas and production schedules while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks, collect samples, complete production documentation, and support batch approval activities.
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, processing equipment, hoses, and production lines while maintaining GMP and food safety standards.
  • Receive and unload raw materials, transport ingredients using a forklift, and maintain accurate inventory throughout the production process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot processing issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts or obtain forklift certification while demonstrating strong attention to detail and following written production procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

Preferred

  • Experience with blending, batching, filtering, or processing operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA requirements, and quality control procedures.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a 12-hour shift while working around processing equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, noise, and wet or humid conditions.
